Text Foldering Release for Kofax

Red Eagle Consulting's Text Foldering Release (TFR) for Kofax Capture is designed to give customers more control over release into a Windows environment without custom code. Customers can now simply configure options that were onced addressed through scripting.

Features of Red Eagle Consulting's Text Foldering Release

Media Folder Settings The media folder allows the Kofax administrator to set up a common root folder for each release type, designated by a UNC or drive letter path. It can also be configured to enforce media limits. This is particularly useful if you need to limit the folder size to burn to a CD or DVD.

Replacement Character Settings The replacement character settings allow the Kofax administrator to specify characters that are illegal or undesired and to define replacement characters. The script defaults to those characters that are illegal in the Windows file system with a blank replacement, but can be modified by the Kofax administrator.

Metadata Settings The Kofax administrator uses the metadata settings to define the release location for metadata. The location may be a static path, a macro, or a combination of the two.

Image Settings The Kofax administrator uses the image settings to specify the file type and to define a release location for the images. Again, it may be a static path, a macro, or a combination of the two.

PDF Settings The Kofax administrator uses the PDF settings to specify the file type and to define a release location for the images. Again, it may be a static path, a macro, or a combination of the two.

Full Text Settings The Kofax administrator uses the full text settings to specify the file type and to define a release location for the images. Again, it may be a static path, a macro, or a combination of the two.

Export and Import The export and import features allow the Kofax administrator to export a release configuration from one document class and import it into another. This is a big time saver if multiple document classes require the same release settings!
